I think that I owe you all a big thank you...
Not only for all of the love and support that you have shown towards this crazy idea of running across a continent. Not just for my amazing sponsors who are still helping me make this challenge a reality! But also now, for all of your votes in the last few months after this blog was nominated at the Running Awards 2018!
Last Saturday the final 12 in the shortlists were announced at the National Running Show in Birmingham, and somehow against all the odds, this little blog made it through! Even a week later I am still shocked at the news. So truly a huge thank you to everyone who has helped get it to when it is today, and for coming back week after week. My January "hiatus" is now almost over, work has been crazy, just like the beginning of every year, although now it is beginning to return to some form of normality. The blogs resume again from Monday along with Instagram and Facebook posts. Mondays blog will be from a new Lithuanian guest blogger, who will be talking about the start of her running journey, the motivation that pushes her each day to keep moving, and growing up in a country that judges heavily on looks and body image.
But until that post is live you can always go and vote for this blog again... That's right, even if you have voted previously you can now enjoy another vote to add to the pile you have already given me! (Whilst your their you may as well drop a vote for Spinal Research as the best small charity as well) You will be able to cast your vote right up until the 15th of March and the winners will be announced at the glamourous awards show in the O2 on the 19th April.
Also why don't you check out some of my awesome sponsors down below. A few of them still have January sales going on for you to catch ;)
